Salt Art
I am always looking for fun activities to do with my tot, when I stumbled across Salt Art!
This was such a fun and inexpensive art project. It was perfect for our “Snow Day”. All you need are some items that you probably already have hanging around your house to create a fun and beautiful art project. Since we didn’t get much snow in our yard, we decided to do snowflakes.
Materials Needed:
· Paper or Canvas
· Table Salt
· Water
· Food Coloring
· Eye Dropper
· Liquid glue
Step 1. Take the glue and draw whatever shape you want. We did snow flakes
Step 2: Sprinkle Salt over your glue shapes
Step 3: Shake off the excess salt
Step 4; Let glue and salt dry
Step 5: Mix the food coloring with water in small cups or bowls
Step 6: Use the eye dropper to draw up the food coloring and then drop it on the salt and watch the color spread.
Step 7: Have Fun!
